Iron Knights Are Back!

"Formed from the ashes of a fallen Squadron, forged in the fires of that purgatory where the dead won’t die yet the living can’t live. At long last we emerge from the shadows of the past; it is a time of reinvention."

 

Iron Knights have recently undergone some drastic changes, having to pull out of shows such as Beermageddon and to retreat from the public eye. When I first heard this news I was saddened because I had seen them play and interviewed them at Hammerfest not long before, and was looking forward to seeing them again later in the year. However, I have no reason to be sad now as they have been working non-stop to pick themselves up, rebuild and carry on. They are now ready to begin a new chapter, with a new line-up, new look and new sound. 

Work on their new album is taking place right now and is due to be released in early 2014. The band’s first live appearance will be in Andernach, Germany on the 14th September as part of the Swordbrothers Festival. 

Personally I wish them all the best, they have had trials and tribulations in the past and overcame them so I have no doubt they can do the same this time.
